English Information Evening about the Municipal Elections

Dear internationals in Odense,

Many of you are eligible to vote in the Odense municipal elections on 18 November, but choosing who to vote for can be challenging if Danish politics is new to you. So on 11 November at 19.30, Storms Pakhus will host an evening where you can meet and hear from local political candidates in English.

Representatives from five parties will briefly present their priorities for Odense and answer questions:

• Socialdemokratiet: Peter Isaksen
• Radikale: Kim Lei-Jensen
• Socialistisk Folkeparti: Ditte Helene Rasmussen
• Venstre: Julie Bruus Jensen
• Konservative: Roya Moore

The evening will be moderated by Barnabas Wetton from England, Associate Professor in Communication Design at Design School Kolding and former BBC World Service contributor on Danish affairs.

Who can vote in the municipal election?
You can vote if you:
✅ Are 18 years or older
✅ Have permanent residence in Denmark
✅ Are a citizen of Denmark, another EU country, Norway, Iceland, or the UK
Or if you have lived in Denmark, Greenland, or the Faroe Islands for at least 4 years before Election Day.
