RED WINE & WHITE WINE FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD
White wines are cooler and red wines are tempered, and you’re guaranteed to find a glass to your tasting. Our suppliers have supplied us with their knowledge of wines. Most characteristically is the taste of your glass of wine and the selection of grape. The production method also gives each wine its’ own character and unique style. From grape variety to terroir, climate, maturity at harvest, fermentation, ageing. All these factors affect the final character of the wine.
A Sauvignon Blanc (white whine) from Marlborough in New Zealand means that the grapes have had the best conditions giving the flavour of citrus.
A red wine on Tempranillo is often more refined with a taste of mature cherries. After a couple of years on oak barrels to give it that extra sweetness, smell and taste of vanilla – and we can keep going like this.
CHAMPAGNE & BUBBLES
“Just a bottle of bubbles, please” is possibly a sentence you have used before. Champagne is more than just foam, luxury and “just bubbles”. In all its’ simplicity, it’s a white wine (or rosé) with bubbles in, where the more serious wine connoisseurs will dive into the different nuances and ageing.
We have classics such as Dom Perignon (2008), Grand Cuvee. Or at a more decent price with same big flavours such as a Lancelot Royer Cuvee Reserve.
Just because there are bubbles, doesn’t make it a champagne. Wine with bubbles is known as sparkling wine and can come from a lot of places. Cava and Cremant are two of the more well known types of sparkling wines. These can also be found in Fino Vino
